Two Wassail Songs are settings of the well-know carols "Gloucestershire Wassail" and "Here we come a Wassailing."
Both use syncopation and metric changes and have a strong rhythmic drive. The first begins in a strict tempo and then degenerates as the wassail takes effect, while the second is a joyous celebration of the season.
